Support for Parents of Neurodiverse Children

Understanding Your Child’s Behaviour

I provide tailored, practical support to help you better understand your neurodiverse child. My aim is to bring clarity to your child’s behaviours and actions, together we will analyse and work out the function of the behaviour whilst celebrating their unique strengths.
Together, we’ll navigate the challenges you may encounter—especially within the school system—and develop effective strategies to manage behavioural difficulties with confidence.

Practical Support and Tools
With a solution-focused approach, I offer hands-on guidance in behaviour management, communication techniques, and support during school transitions. This includes creating individualised behaviour plans and assisting with school reintegration if your child is struggling with non-attendance. My goal is to equip you with practical tools that make a real difference in everyday life. We will address any specific sensory behaviours i.e. fussy eating, sleeping and toileting

Parenting Support and Advocacy
Parenting a neurodiverse child comes with unique challenges, but you don’t have to face them alone. I’m here to support you with compassionate, actionable advice to help you build a stronger, more connected family dynamic. Together, we’ll explore practical strategies to strengthen your own coping skills, understand sensory processing needs, and support the development of executive function skills in your child.
Additionally, I can help you become an effective advocate for your child, offering guidance to navigate the education system and ensure their individual needs are recognised and supported.

Through this collaborative journey, we’ll work toward creating a nurturing environment that promotes growth, understanding, and resilience for both you and your child.
