Coaching is a collaborative and dynamic partnership between you (or your family) and me as your coach.
Together, we embark on a creative and thought-provoking process designed to support personal — and, where appropriate, professional — growth. My role is to provide a safe, motivating space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward with clarity and confidence.
This coaching can be tailored to individuals, parents, and families of children and young people, recognising the unique dynamics and challenges that come with raising or supporting a young person in today’s world. Whether you’re seeking to strengthen your own resilience, enhance your parenting approach, or help your child navigate change, we’ll work together to create a path that feels right for you and your family.
We focus on the present and the future, working towards meaningful, lasting change.
You’ll be supported to:
Increase self-awareness and gain clarity around your strengths, challenges, and motivations.
Set meaningful, realistic goals and take steps toward achieving them.
Build healthy, supportive habits that align with your values.
Learn tools and techniques that promote growth — from reflective exercises to creative, solution-focused conversations.
Coaching helps you tap into your own skills and wisdom. It’s about becoming more aligned with your values and living more intentionally. I’ll listen deeply, reflect back what I hear, and offer perspective so you can see your life — and behaviour — from a broader point of view.
We may also use visualisation or gentle meditative techniques to unlock fresh insights or imagine new ways of being. You’ll have the chance to explore your values and beliefs — where they’ve come from and whether they’re still serving you.
Session Structure.
Before each session:
You’ll receive a short questionnaire two days in advance to help you reflect and focus. Returning it a day or two before our session gives us a strong foundation for our conversation.
After each session: I encourage you to complete a brief reflection. This helps deepen your learning and highlight next steps you may want to take.
Coaching can cover areas such as:
Parenting support
Self-awareness and emotional regulation
Communication within the family
Relationship dynamics and love languages
Work-life balance and self-care
Stress, loss, and emotional wellbeing
Conflict resolution
Understanding how past experiences shape current patterns
Empowerment and decision-making
Time management and goal setting
Exploring personal values and beliefs
Navigating change with children or teens
Any other topic that matters to you
My primary responsibility is to listen, observe, reflect, and reframe your thoughts. By asking open-ended questions, I will help you concentrate on solutions and future possibilities, while also identifying obstacles that may be holding you back.
I will provide a dedicated space to cultivate your dreams and goals. I will help you to clarify your goals to ensure you achieve the outcomes you desire.
I will help you to explore what life will be like if you don’t make any changes and life continues as it is currently.
Whilst working with you/your family I may if wished include some educational elements related to you/your child’s needs.
Coaching is not a medical intervention or therapy.
I will not diagnose or treat physical or mental health conditions.
Instead of providing direct answers, I will encourage you to discover your own solutions. The focus is on facilitating your growth through inquiry rather than advice-giving, empowering you to take responsibility for your actions, as you are the best judge of what meets your needs.
This is different from counselling. You take the lead in sessions, deciding what matters most to you. I can offer guidance and prompts if you need them.
We might explore questions such as:
What kind of change are you looking for?
What’s already going well, and what could be improved?
What’s currently holding you back — and how might you move through it?
If you are facing mental or physical health challenges, I may encourage you to seek assistance from a qualified health professional.
