Free Discovery Session

Curious about coaching and wondering if it’s right for you (or your family)?

I offer a free 45-minute discovery session — a relaxed, no-obligation chat where we can get to know each other. This is a chance for you to share what’s on your mind, concerns you have regarding your family member, ask any questions, and get a feel for how I work. We’ll talk about what you’re hoping to achieve and explore how coaching might support you.

It’s also an opportunity for both of us to see if we’re the right fit to work together — coaching is most powerful when there’s trust and connection.

Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, or as a parent, this session is designed to help you make an informed and confident decision about moving forward.

There’s no pressure, no commitment — just a genuine conversation.

Coaching helps you to articulate your goals and challenges and find your own answers. I want you to get to know and trust yourself and then act in alignment with who you are or want to become (your values).

I will listen, reflect back and help you get the all-important helicopter view of your behaviour and your life. This is different from counselling as you lead these sessions by identifying the topics, I can give prompts if you wish.

Help you to identify what you wish to change and achieve. What would your best life look like? What is working well and what to improve on? Why do you wish to make this change? What is holding you back? What will happen if things stay as they are? How would you feel if the change had already happened? Where would you like to be in one year? Three years? Five years?

Consider -career, physical health, recreation, family, romantic relationships, spirituality, friends, home, finances, service to community.
Once a goal is identified together we develop an action plan. Score the goal to give a baseline.
I can make use of a meditative state to imagine a different way of functioning.

Have you considered what your values are and are you living within those values ?

Have you considered your beliefs and where these beliefs come from?

Each session will have a pre-questionnaire sent out two days before with an expectation of a return either one or two days before this will help you identify what topic you would like to discuss at this session, completing this ensures you will get the most from each session.
Following the session I encourage you to fill in a reflective document. This helps you to get the most from the session and helps you to be clear what you may choose to work on between sessions.
